No 1 (F) Squadron will reform officially on Saturday 15 September 2012 at RAF Leuchars. The Squadron will be the fourth Typhoon squadron. The Stand-Up ceremony will form an important part of the RAF Leuchars Jubilee Airshow and the organisers have reserved a limited number of places in the VIP tent for the Association. Included in the VIP package are a complimentary bar, tea and coffee all day and a two-course lunch as well as Airshow entry passes and VIP routing in and out. These places do however come at a cost of £90 per head with priority being given to Squadron VIPs and former Squadron OCs. Unfortunately, the availability of Service accommodation is unclear at the time of writing.
To assist the organisers, an early indication of Association members wishing to attend would be appreciated. Association members wishing to attend the ceremony and have places reserved in the VIP area are requested to e-mail the Association Secretary (no1sqnassn@aol.com) as soon as possible please.
